Consultday in 2024: growth, innovation and, a real team

The end of the year is getting closer and closer and it’s almost time for Christmas and New Year with the family. For us, these are also the final moments for quite a few go lives with great clients. But first, I look back with you on Consultday in 2024 and what we have accomplished this year.

2024, a wonderful year

2024 was a wonderful year in which a lot happened; as Consultday, we’ve continued to strengthen our foundation and our team built strong bonds with each other. We were really able to further live and apply our core values, which made us successful and grew our own level of knowledge. We have been able to complete many wonderful projects and assignments this year. I myself work on various projects to both keep my knowledge up to date and to advise our clients intensively too. This keeps being a truly fantastic thing to do for me.

This year we have made great strides in broadening and deepening our own expertise and services. One of the highlights was the creation of our new Data & Analytics team, led by Rianne. With a keen eye for data-driven insights and an innovative approach, this team has already delivered a number of high-profile projects, performed data migrations, and given organizations insight into their own HR data.

My memorable moments

There were so many memorable experiences in 2024. There were many of them and those involved both projects and with our team. For example, the implementations of the new payroll and benefits shop at Rabobank and the insourcing of HR Services at Vattenfall, where we were really able to make a difference. We also experienced a successful fair with UNLEASH World in Paris and organized a Round Table to talk about experiences with outsourcing HR services with ABN AMRO, Jumbo, KPN, Odido, and that same Rabobank. To top it off, there was the annual workstation for Team Consultday, this year in Cascais, Portugal!

Wonderful projects

We were able to execute more wonderful projects besides those at Rabobank and Vattenfall. These include the selection of a new system for time recording at Ausnutria, a beautiful AFAS ERP implementation at the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA) and Stichting Opbouw, or the implementation of Visma Youforce at the Koninklijke Bibliotheek – the Royal Library.

In these and all other projects, we work according to our ConsultWay of Working, which includes our core values:

Proud of our clients

The trust our clients place in us remains our greatest compliment. In 2024 we once again carried out beautiful assignments for wonderful and well-known Vattenfall, Rabobank, KPN and Jumbo. Those are just a few wonderful names, we also help wonderful organizations such as COA and educational and government institutions with their HR (Tech) transformations. It is inspiring to see how our work advances these diverse sectors, how enthusiastic the HR teams become about it and how valued my colleagues become. I really feel a lot of pride for that. Proud of our consultants who create change, proud of organizations that choose to make that same change and the internal departments that I believe are working on it and continue to do so. That’s what I really do it for!

A great team

Our growth in clients and projects also means growth in our team. This year we welcomed some great new colleagues: Rianne, Wouter, Glenn, Rinus, Kim, Jeroen M, RenĂ©e, and Christina. They all bring unique knowledge and a fresh perspective. Knowledge on HR (IT) Project Management, Business Analysis, Data, Change Management, and Testing. Together with these new team members we are building even more impact and innovation in HR and Tech in 2025 and far beyond. There was a well-deserved FD Gazelle Award, Consultday’s own Awards, and so many other great things I want to thank all Consultday’ers for. I learned that we brought together a top-notch team that scored high customer satisfaction with an average of 9.4. For that I am very proud and grateful.

Consultday in 2025

Next year is going to be another great one for us, for Consultday. We know that our existing, long-term relationships with clients and partners are a very important success factor for us. In 2025, we want to focus particularly on the further automation of HR Delivery, including digital adoption platforms (with myMeta) and employee engagement (with QuandaGo). This not only strengthens our vision on HR and tech, but also the overall services we can offer. We are also going to tell the market even more about why organizations should choose Consultday, including with customer cases and interesting blogs. We have so much experience and expertise, we like to share this. Showing and experiencing why we are the Go to HR IT consultancy!

A new go live!

With all these successes and special moments in the back of my mind, I am really looking forward to 2025. Together with our amazing Team Consultday and our trusted (integration) partners, I am ready to take on new challenges and make even more impact in the world of HR and Delivery.
