Change is the norm today, and the ability to manage it effectively largely determines an organization’s success. Change management plays a crucial role in this. This goes beyond just making ambitious plans—it’s about guiding people in a new direction and supporting them in embracing transformation. Since joining Consultday, I’ve learned how important it is to balance a solid change strategy with daily operations. 

What is Change Management? 

Change management is the process through which organizations ensure that an HR transition runs smoothly and that the benefits of change are truly realized. This requires a clear approach and close collaboration between all stakeholders. At Consultday, we believe in developing tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of each organization.

As consultants, we combine our expertise in HR and change management with a structured approach that puts people at the center. The resulting Change Management Plan is based on the following pillars that are a part of the PROSCI method for change management:

  2. Desire: Motivate employees and stakeholders to actively participate in the change. 
  3. Knowledge: Provide all necessary training and information for a successful implementation. 
  4. Ability: Remove barriers and offer both requested and proactive support to help employees effectively adopt new processes.
